to start training on-snow as early as possible.

Continental Cup/F.I.S. Races in Silver Star, Canada
The main focus of my season
this year is the World Cup week in Utah in January. In order to
qualify for the World Cup races, I need to race well in the NOR/AM
Continental Cup before then. The Continental Cup starts over Thanksgiving
in Silver Star. These races are the best opportunity, besides
Nationals, to improve my points since most of the North America's
top skiers will be there.

The Olympic Team will be
selected, in part, by the National Ranking List as of January
20, 2002. Races up to a year previous can be used to calculate
a person's points, which means that these races are the first
races that will count for Olympic Team Selection. I did not go
to these races but here are results anyway.
